I can't seem to find the content filtering menu on the netgear gateway site 192.168.0.1 , does anyone know what category it is under? and also, any info on how to block sites would be appreciated

Can I make it impossible to bypass an internet content filter?
I would like to be able to access the internet without being able to download porn. My ISP is my school, so I can't switch to a service that is filtered at the server level, such as familyinternet, which is the most secure way to do this. I have to rely on software filters on my computer much less secure. I got around Safe Eyes, and now know how to do so without downloading anything, so that one's useless, unless I find some way to prevent myself from editing the registry, accessing the run command or using windows defender.As an addict, I'm not just going to stop looking on my own I tried and I'm good enough to bypass Safe Eyes. I was wondering if there was something more effective out there.

I have a couple computers in my home network that I'd like to enable some sort of parental controls web filtering on, without using an OpenDNS solution of content filtering my entire network of phones, iPads, other computers, XBOX, etc.. I even thought about some sort of hardware filtering router that those computers would connect to and then through the main router, but that doesn't seem viable.. or does it?

My school's IT guy has a very strict content filter set up that blocks literally everything. This is boarding school so simply going to a different location for internet isn't an option. I've tried pretty much all the proxies out there but they're all blocked because they fall under the " anonymizer" category.And no, this is not simply for porn, etc. I need to download a few programs and music but it's all blocked. My roommate has an iPhone so I utilize the tethering feature on his phone, but I only see him at night when I'm doing homework, getting ready for bed, etc. Also his internet connection is quite slow T Mobile .Any suggestions ideas fancy programs to help me with my dilemma? What is a good software for filtering Internet content? It needs to be able to filter the content no matter what network it's on. For example, OpenDNS works at home with your devices, but once you leave your network it's not going to work anymore. I need something that will work no matter where the person is at. It doesn't have to be free, but I don't want it to be extremely expensive. This is for an overly concerned mother to filter her son's laptop. No, I am not the mom. I just work at the IT store.
