Does anyone know of a free web content filter?
I'm asking an opposite question of what most people would ask. At my school there is a filter Maybe Windows Server that says " Access Denied policy denied Your system policy has denied access to the requested URL. For assistance, contact your network support team." I would also like this on my home computers to filter internet access. How could I do this? I want that note to appear instead of a brand name filter that can be looked into being hacked. Or, is there free software that can redirect you to a page of your choice? Thanks.

How do I bypass a web content filter that also has proxy sites blocked?
Anyone have any ideas? I use a mac and a pc at work. They have EVERYTHING blocked, including every single web proxy and other anyonymizer sites. I am able to use the google translate method, but that isn't good enough. I don't have admin rights on my computer either, but I am a " power user" some permissions enabled .

Anyone know of a good web content filtering solution for Windows 2003 server?
Freeware, commerical, whatever...just stable and cost effective. The only downside to OpenDNS is that you can't have access levels by groups. For example, we want one group to have wide open access and another group to only get to business sites no e mail, social networks, etc . While it is possible with OpenDNS, it requires forming multiple subnets in the company...which, when you only have 40 employees with 3 " natural groups" of 12, 13, and 25 respectively, it is not really worth it.

Can anybody recommend a good web content filter for around 50 users?
Our company is looking for a web content filtering application for around 50 users. I'm only interested in a URL and content filtering solution, not just URL blocking.Thanks.

Cannot connect to internet from windows desktop through fedora 9 web content filter?
I have a server setup to use Squid and DansGuardian on a Fedora 9 OS. The server is working fine and blocking everything that should be blocked. For some reason though I can not connect to the internet from a Windows XP Pro client computer when using the proxy server. Is there a script or something that needs to be done on the windows computers in order to connect through a linux proxy server?

Free web content filtering software?
I need a good free software that will filter my internet activity from... pornography basically. But I need one where I will not have an option to go around it... like a password or stuff like that. I need it for myself, not for anyone else. Thanks
