Question: When i send emails from gmail, it also gets sent to myself?

Hi. whenever I send emails to people from my gmail, it also automatically sends it to myself. how can I change this? Thanks.

Under settings, go to Forwarding and POP/ IMAP tab, disable forwarding. Try that. If that doesn't work let me know by editing the question details.

Probably because in the past you've added yourself. If you have deleted yourself it will still be saved in it's memory.

It seems you are accessing gmail from different source like webmail and outlook/ phone... Check your POP Download settings. If you access with different source change "When messages are accessed with POP " Option. One more thing like if you are sending to group and in which if you are added then it may be delivered to you too.. check the from and to field in the mail that arrived you. Make sure you are not copied by default. Also if you are mailing to a group in your contact you may also be there. check that too
