Will emails come through on both computers?
We have recently been given a router so my husband can use his laptop anywhere in the house. We also have a desktop computer. We can both be on the separate computers now but he has the same email address for both the desktop and laptop. If an email comes through whilst both computers are logged on will the email come through to one computer or both? This may seem like a very silly question to people who know about computers but I don't know so would appreciate sensible answers please.To those who asked if it was a web based email address I wouldn't know what that is, it's a Talktalk one, not yahoo or hotmail.
Deleted the email account, but it's still spamming my friends?
My old, unused email account randomly started automatically sending everyone on my contact list various links to computer viruses, so I deleted the account a couple of days ago. I just recently, like 10 minutes ago, found out it is still sending my contacts the emails. Shouldn't it have stopped? How do I fix this It's a hotmail account.

spam people?I use Windows Live Mail not hotmail, but the program Windows Live Mail and just in the last couple of days i've received dozens and dozens of email notifications from Mailer Daemon yahoo.com AND other email systems such as raketmail.com, rediffmail.com and many many others and they are all alerting me that emails sent from my address could not be delivered.Now these are all emails that i have actually not sent myself. There are heaps of them and i have never seen the addresses of the people who are allegedly not receiving the mail that was sent from my email addy. I get the feeling that someone is using my email address to spam people randomly and i'm getting the messages for the spam mail that for whatever reason couldn't get through.The email address i'm using is one that i set up with my ISP Optus in Australia.I would really prefer to not change my email address, so is there a solution to this? All suggestions are most welcome. When dozens and dozens of these failure notices land in my inbox it creeps me out.
How do i report email scams?
someone tried to reset my password today, i received confirmation of this through all three ways yahoo email, other email and a text to my cell phone. There was also an email from my log in request yahoo.com. whenI click on thelink it takes me to a web page that LOOKS like the yahoo login page, but doesn't have the security icon I set up and the web siteit takes me to is neverbeforgotten.com. When I viewed the email on my computer I also noted that it didn't have the yahoo icon next to it. How do I let YAHOO know of this issue?

How would I change this code to personalize the email?
I am trying to personalize the email I automatically send to people after they register on my site. I am sure that it is easy, but I just can't figure it out. " r n" .'X Mailer PHP ' . phpversion mail $to, $subject, $message, $headers That code works all fine and good, but I want to put the username in after " Welcome" in the " $message " area. I tried this $message 'Hello, ' .$username 'Welcome to '.$pass but when I throw in the extra single quotes it get a syntax error.Help please?I tried what Colinc suggested and this is what it looked like $message ' Hello ' $username ' , Welcome to '.$pass I am still getting a syntax errorOh never mind, I missed the second concatenation dot.
