Question: I go toocraig's list, need pop3 or smtp?

When I go to caigs list and the ad has no ph# or email, so I click on he craigs list email provided at the top of the ad then I must put in my name then it ask me for my pop3 or smpt I don, t f$#kin know what thy are, how do I find the pop3 or smtp

No you dont. Pop3 and SMTP are services for fowarding your email inbox to a email program like Mail for the mac.
