Question: Is it possible to have high speed wireless internet connection without a land phone line in your home?

I've been told No in the past but surely there is something that can free me from this land line charge.

Yeah high speed cable broadband. Only line you need in that is co axle cable and run their modem they give you into a wireless router and bam.

Yes, you can have internet that runs through the cable outlet. This may depend on the providers in your area though..

A satellite connection does not require a land line but the bit rate (speed) is lower than DSL or cable. You can use your mobile instead of the land line. You can also use VOIP but the voice quality may be poor due to latency caused by the extra distance data must travel. Latency is hardly noticeable with a data transmission but can greatly reduce the quality of a 2 way voice conversation. Test it before you buy.
