Why does my SBS Server block internet access and email access to client computers?
FYI I have a SBS Server 2003 R2 with Exchange Server 2003.When I enable the firewall on the server the client computers can't access the internet or email through outlook.
There is a ! in yellow triangle it says no internet access over my connection whats up with that?
I am plugged directly into the box thingy with ethernet cable. my moms laptop works fine. Mine has this weird thing i have power cycled the box thing and my computer any other suggestions please
Question about laptop internet access?
OK so I've never used a laptop before I've always just used my desktop, but it broke pretty bad so I'm just going to switch to a laptop since they're more convenient . I need a router or something for internet, but I'm not sure if a router has to be set up to a modem? Can I just set up a router on its own or do I need something else?

Windows 7 no internet access?
I just got a new laptop and it came with Windows 7. The internet was working fine and everything, but once i updatd t and got all the necessary updates the internet wont work. When i go to wireless internet properties it says IPv6 no connected. But IPv4 is conneced, could someone please help me. Thanks

It started a while ago, the schools internet network in my dorm went down for a while. After 2 weeks, I could connect to the wireless networks but not the actual hard line. It keeps showing up as an Unidentified Network, with No Internet Access. I thought it was just another school issue and didn't think much of it.Then, I went home and tried to connect to our wired connection. I got the same issue, but if I connected via wireless I was fine. Same thing over at a friends house, wi fi works but any hard line still comes up as Unnamed with no internet access. The only wi fi networks that would be strong enough for me to connect to in the dorm room would be from someone else on this floor, which means whoevers broadcasting has a working hard connection, so I dont think it's a school issue. I think someone is hacking into my computer/internet access? Help?
I have a WEP key won't say the password, obviously , but I think some creep is hacking into my internet computer.When I click on my Internet Explorer icon on my computer, it brings me to my homepage Google . On one of the toolbars, under " Tools" , I scroll down to " Internet Options" . On the first page of this, one of the sections are " Browsing History" When I click on settings for that, then go to " View Files" , it shows all the Temporary Files my computer is storing...This is where I think someone is hacking into my computer. Practically half of the Temporary Files are the names of Porn websites, and when I check what times these were accessed, its at midnight or 2am in the morning, when my whole family and I are asleep So is someone hacking into my computer? Is my WEP bad? If this person keeps using my internet to look up porn, can I get bad viruses from it?Help, please.
How to share internet access among multiple Vlans?
I am using Cisco 2960 layer 2 switch and i have created 5 separated Vlans. All what i want is to share internet connection to all vlan members. How can i do that? Is router on a stick 802.1Q the solution? I know i can do that using layer 3 switch but i can not afford one.So what are the possible ways to do that by keeping my layer 2 switch?
Connected to Cisco Linksys router but it doesn't have internet access?
I just got a Cisco Linksys router model WRT54G2 from a friend and I plugged it into the jack in the wall and everything, blah blah. And I can get my iPhone, Wii, Laptop, etc. connected just fine but none of them get actual internet access. I must be doing something wrong...is there any easy solution?
