I have to keep disconnecting from my wireless network then reconnecting in order to have internet access?
I currently have a Netgear Wireless Router which is connected to a Verizon Modem. Let me preface this issue by saying, I have had this set up and had NO issues for the past 4 5 months. It wasn't until the last month that I started having connection issues. Also, there is another laptop which we use, and it's NOT having the same issue as I am.The issue I will be connected to my wireless router have a FULL 5 bar connection , be browsing the web, and all of a sudden a webpage will not load as if I have lost connection . However I will still have all 5 bars, and it shows as being still connected to my router. It is only when I manually disconnect from my router via my computer , then reconnect when I get internet connection. However this is short lived, as it only lasts about 5 10 minutes max, before I have to repeat the same process.I understand this must be an issue with my computer. Quite possibly a driver issue? However I am not sure how to fix it. I tried to research it, but I'm being taken to some questionable sites to download questionable drivers.ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED Also, if it helps, I have an HP Pavillion dv6 bought it last year . Running windows 7.P.S. After attempting to submit this question it happened again, so I had to hit the back button on my browser, then reconnect in order to submit it.

Is there a way to install Microsoft Visual C# 2010 onto another computer that does not have internet access?
Alright, so as of right now, I am using a net book to post this, but I have another computer that I would like to install Microsoft Visual C 2010 onto this computer. The only problem is that my other computer does not have Internet access. I have already tried a VPN to try and share Internet access if that is even possible but that hasn't worked. There is absolutely no way I am able to get Internet access on my second computer, and the installer for Microsoft Visual C 2010 requires Internet to download and install the files necessary. Now, what I would like to know is if there is another installer that gives you the complete set of Microsoft Visual C 2010 in a single installer? Or do I have to go to Burger King or McDonald's and use their public WiFi to download it, which personally, I do not like fast food restaurants. Any help from the smart people on Yahoo Answers?Oh and I think I might want to add that you cannot change the installation directory for Microsoft Visual C 2010. Which means that you cannot install it onto a flash drive.

What is the best way to allow internet access but protect the internal network?
Background I have created an internal wireless network using a single server computer and a wireless router. Users can create and share proprietary content with other users on the same internal network. I have access to a wired internet connection near the server ie, I can connect a LAN cable from the server to the wall jack . What I would like to do is 1 Allow internal network users to access the internet2 Allow the server to access the internet for software updates, etc. AND3 Prevent anyone outside of our network from seeing or accessing our internal contentI've searched for answers, but I haven't found a clear solution for what I'm trying to do. I'm hoping it's a fairly easy question since this situation must come up regularly.Thank you

My modem is working fine, but why won't my wireless router allow internet access?
I recently just changed internet providers. I set up my cisco e3000 wireless router to my old modem a while back, now I changed internet providers and they set me up with a brand new modem. The internet from the new modem is working just fine, i am able to access internet if i directly connect my computer to the modem. But when i try connecting to internet THROUGH my router it wont allow internet access. I am able to connect to my router through all wireless devices, only thing is it keeps saying that there is limited or no internet connectivity. any ideas? please help. thanks.

I'm connected to the network but no internet access?
Here's the details of the network IP Address 192.168.1.1Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0Starting IP 192.168.1.10DHCP enabledWPA2 AES I'm trying to access the network wirelessly on my laptop every other connection works perfectly fine, but when I try this one I can't access the internet. Could there possibly be a block on this particular network from accessing the internet? I can manually change the network settings so is there another IP Subnet scheme that may work better? Or perhaps changing to WPA or WEP?

Can anyone say to me , which os xp, vista or 7 is the best for faster internet access?

If you use a router to get internet access can people see what sites you visited?

Wireless loses internet access?
My wireless internet loses internet access if I get up and walk around. It has a " excellent" connection and runs fast until I get up and walk around my room house. Then to gain access again I have to disconnect and reconnect to it. What the Hell is wrong? I'm not very far from the router.

Can I plug in a second router and get internet access?
I have a second little house type thing in a garden and I can not get any signal from my wireless router inside the house so I was wondering if I could just get a second router and plug it in there. Will I be able to get internet access just like that or will I have to do some other stuff? Thanks
