Question: I was just thinking, is there anything close that rivals bittorrent, other than newsgroups! :p?

There are many torrent clients, Bit Torrent isn't the only one. But providers and the government are cracking down on downloading "free " programs, songs and videos, so any "new " technology isn't going to have a very long life.
