Web accelerators are not what you think. they are for the most part a money grabber. The only true way to gain speed is More Ram Installed on your computer and a faster Proccessor in there as well. Other than that you are paying for nothing.

According to the Free Downloads Center, there are only Shareware Download Accelerators available. Even if you download these (which i wouldnt recommend doing) they would not have all the accelerator benefits and may include spy-ware/ ad ware that will further slow down your Internet speeds. If sounds like to me that you have Dial-Up Internet. This is not necessarily a bad thing but waiting for web pages to load can become frustrating. I was once just like yourself waiting for pages to load. I am quite smart with surfing the web and know that free web accelerators are quite rare and that its better off waiting for the page to load. I eventually hope you do get better Internet speeds and that you can view all your favorite web pages. Cheers, Beamesy

If you want to improve the download speed then try a software called "Free Download Manager "

Hey Friend!!! I would reccomend u to use DAP( download accelerator plus).. Its fast, no dupe. U can feel the difference. even has resuming features.. i would rate it 4 out of 5 speedbit.com

"Getright " is the best one I know, after a few weeks, if will prompt you to buy it, but that prompt will last for 30 second after a few downloads. You will just of to ignore the prompt and download has much data has you will need for years to come.

RAM & CPU will not neccesarily iaccelerate your we experience. A well built, properly configured computer will make a lot of difference, in conjunction witha a quality Broadband connection. Here are some registry tools to help: These are all excellent registry cleaners. I have used them all in conjunction with each other for years without a single mishap. You'd be surprised on how many registry entries they can clean up, even on a fresh install of Windows. Microsoft RegClean 4.1a - majorgeeks.com/ download458.ht... Finally SPYBOT will help remove and immunize against SPYWARE/ MALWARE safer-networking.org/ index2.html Another well known fix is to allow more than two simultaneous downloads in IE. This problem is really noticeable when you go to a site and you need to download a few items. You'll notice that you can only start two downloads and must wait for one to finish before starting the next one. Well the same theory applies when loading the webpage, by defualt only two items can be loaded at a time. 1. Open Registry Editor. 2. In Registry Editor, navigate to the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings 3.
